DGE Group has published its Sustainability Report 2025, presenting our environmental, social and governance disclosures across the Nordic and Baltic markets. The report reflects a year of clearer strategy, stronger collaboration and continued focus on creating positive impact through our own operations and, most importantly, through the work we deliver to our clients.
2025 was an important year for DGE Group. We updated our Group strategy, implemented a Group-wide Code of Conduct and continued strengthening the way we work as ONE DGE — combining local knowledge, scientific expertise and cross-border collaboration to address complex environmental and societal challenges.
At the heart of our strategy is our purpose: to build a more resilient world for a sustainable future beyond our own. This purpose is supported by our vision of virtuous growth and by the virtues that guide how we work: empathy, integrity and bravery.
Key highlights from 2025
Among the main sustainability and business highlights of the year:
- 16% increase in the use of renewable fuel in company vehicles
- 6% reduction in transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1–3
- Zero work-related accidents requiring medical attention across the entire Group
- Updated Group strategy and implementation of the Group Code of Conduct
- Biodiversity advisory services expansion started
These developments show how sustainability is becoming increasingly embedded in DGE Group’s strategy, operations and culture.
Our greatest impact is created through client work
As an environmental and sustainability consultancy, DGE Group creates its greatest positive sustainability impact through the work we deliver to our clients. Across the Group, our advisory services help organisations understand, manage and reduce environmental and social impacts, strengthen regulatory compliance and make better-informed decisions.
Our areas of expertise include environmental impact assessment, strategic environmental assessment, Natura 2000 assessment, environmental permitting, soil and water investigation and remediation, circular economy, EHS management and audits, due diligence, climate management, greenhouse gas calculations, life cycle assessment, environmental product declarations and sustainability reporting.
Through these services, we help clients reduce emissions, prevent pollution, improve resource efficiency, manage climate-related risks, support responsible supply chains and contribute to safer, more resilient communities.
Innovation supporting sustainable decisions
Innovation is one of DGE Group’s strategic focus areas. In 2025, DGE Estonia continued developing AI-based services that support more efficient research, analysis and project delivery. One example is LandScout AI, a solution designed to support more sustainable land use and planning decisions by combining planning, permitting, infrastructure, risk and environmental data into clear AI-supported insights.
By helping users understand location-related opportunities and limitations more quickly, LandScout AI can support more transparent, informed and lower-impact decisions regarding land use and development.
A workplace where people can thrive
Employee wellbeing, health and safety are material topics for DGE Group. In 2025, the Group reported zero work-related accidents requiring medical attention and continued to develop working environments that support flexibility, safety and wellbeing.
One example highlighted in the report is DGE Estonia’s recognition as the first and still only migraine-friendly workplace in Estonia. This reflects a broader commitment to flexible, health-conscious and inclusive workplace practices.
Building a more resilient future as ONE DGE
The Sustainability Report 2025 demonstrates that sustainability at DGE Group is not a separate add-on. It is part of how we lead, collaborate, advise clients, develop services and build our organisation.
As environmental and social challenges become increasingly complex, the ability to combine local insight, scientific expertise and international collaboration becomes more important than ever. DGE Group will continue to strengthen its shared capabilities, develop innovative solutions and support clients in creating long-term value for business, society and the environment.
