Additional investigations of soil contamination for all Danish regions
Denmark has a large number of contaminated sites that may pose a serious risk to humans and the environment.
The responsibility for tackling soil contaminations in Denmark lies with the regions which every year direct their efforts towards the sites, where the contamination poses the largest risk.
DGE cooperates with all five regions and every year they perform several hundred additional investigations at properties mapped at information level 2 with a demonstrated contamination which must be delimited.
