Helle Hegelund is appointed as the new Country Director for DGE Denmark, and she thus takes the lead in the further development and direction of the Danish branch of the Group.
Helle comes from a position in her own company, where she, among other things, advises the Danish Energy Agency on the large energy island project in the North Sea, and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners on the Power-to-X project in Aalborg. Previously, Helle has held key management roles in NIRAS and Kattegatcentret.
Group’s CEO Poul Erik Jensen is very optimistic about the future with the change. “Helle has a strong holistic approach to leadership and development of teams. This qualifies her to be the obvious leader of DGE,” Jensen says.
Hegelund focuses on development, due diligence and a common direction, and puts her strengths as a team player to good use, having a great understanding of what it takes to succeed as a team.
“I’m really looking forward to getting started. DGE is a very exciting company with a strong professional core and good human values. We are a good match, and DGE has a solid foundation, where I look forward to contributing to the further development,” says the new leader.
With her new title as Country Director, Helle will also join the top management team in DGE Group.
